Admissions Dinner

It’s always a pleasure to work with Mike Burton and all the staff at Russell Morin Catering. Each year, we have a dinner for our admitted students, and their families, to recognize their accomplishments and the merit scholarships they have received from the University. Our goal is to make the admitted students feel special and Russell Morin helps us to do just that. Those in attendance are astonished by the transformation of our gymnasium and the terrific catering. One guest last year said, “I was extremely impressed with the entire event and the incredible attention to detail. We were treated like royalty!”

I truly appreciate Mike’s dedication and willingness to go above and beyond. I will never forget the year we needed to move almost all of the 90 tables in the room, at the request of the fire marshal to make bigger aisles. Mike and Briant Hiengpothichack rushed to campus and moved the already set tables so we could get approval from the fire marshal for the event to take place. We consistently have more guests who want to attend this event than we can accommodate. Last year, Mike thought of a great way to fit more tables in the room, without compromising the ambiance. With the new design, we were able to accommodate all the guests who wanted to attend and still have aisles large enough to ensure the safety of our guests in case of an emergency.
