The aesthetic for Alexis and Trevor’s Linden Place June wedding was an intimate garden-style wedding full of color. Beautiful bouquets filled with a variety of flowers, gold mirror signage, candles on gold candlesticks throughout the whole venue, and custom napkins with the couple’s initials placed on everyone's seat for dinner.

Russell Morin joined some amazing partners to host Hasbro Children's Hospital Heros Ball, where more than 600 guests immersed themselves in a tropical, Hawaiian-themed experience. The annual event, held in August 2023, raised more than $1.1M to support the hospital’s mission. 

Early in the planning process, the couple was set on a venue by the water, but fell in love with the Library’s stunning architecture and rich design, as well as what surrounding downtown Providence had to offer their guests, who were traveling in from around the world.

Pieter and Paige sought out a mix of classic, natural, elegant, and romantic for their May wedding at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Paige's great great grandfather was a whaling captain, and Pieter’s family is from the seaside in Belgium, so this nautical venue was the perfect spot to bring together their two families, in a celebration that was uniquely them.

We have teamed up with the hospital for more than ten years now to cater this special event, and we could not be more proud of the lasting partnership we’ve built. Each year our chefs pull together a creative menu to match the gala’s theme, and keep guests happy and full as they raise money for a worthy cause.

Jessica and Christopher’s wedding day started with an outdoor ceremony here at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. The weather was absolutely perfect, family and friends joined on the plaza to witness these two tie the knot, the string trio was the perfect background ambiance. This past Friday night we held our Craft Beer Dinner with Newport Storm. The dinner menu was crafted by one of our talented chefs and the brewery put a lot of thought into pairing the perfect brews to compliment the dishes.

The menu is "wild" and unlike anything you can get in the area. Our talented chefs will be preparing the dishes in our new open kitchen right before your eyes.

Russell Morin Catering and Events is thrilled to announce our latest exclusive relationship with Newport Art Museum. The Griswold House, located on Bellevue Avenue in Newport, RI, is the home to the museum and boasts historic architecture, stimulating art collections, and surrounded by pristine grounds.

The Preservation Society Gala, this year themed “Le Bal Francais,” took place at the esteemed Marble House in Newport, RI. The black, white, and red décor designed by Zak Events was extravagantly theatrical. To add to the theatrics and thrill of the evening, live statue performances by Ten31 Productions awed guests as they mingled and enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

The intimate June wedding of Jami and Brian took place at the gorgeous Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, RI. This 35 person event featured pale hues of blush and ivory, tall crystal centerpieces full of flowers done by Stoneblossom, and entertainment that only true Vegas Entertainers would be able to provide – yes, they came all the way from Las Vegas along with their talented friends who made the event totally something to rave about.

The Annual Newport Flower show brings hundreds of people from all over to the Preservation Society's Newport Mansions. This three-day event involves intense setup and management. Russell Morin Catering & Events has been the trusted hospitality organizer of choice for 10 consecutive years. From cocktail parties to hors d'oeuvres for hundreds to stations and champagne dinners, we handle it all with the experience and skill an event of this size requires.

We loved being a part of this spring inspired rehearsal dinner that took place at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island.

This year Miriam Hospital held a Soho-Chic annual fundraiser at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet.

We came up with a list of brand new herb-infused cocktails for this 2014 season and we think this one is PERFECT for Spring. This Strawberry Basil Smash combines the sweetness of seasonal berries with the unmistakable taste of fresh basil.

Mount Hope Farm is among very few wedding venues whose main goal is preservation, not profit. This Wedding Venue is an actual working farm, and money earned from events goes right back into the land, the people, and of course, all of the animals.

Ashley and Anthony said their vows amongst the vines of Jonathan Edwards Winery in Stonington, Connecticut. Lavish linens and rustic touches were the perfect compliments to this beautiful venue. Warm apple cider set up on our signature Barrel Bar as guests arrived showed that the bride and groom put thought into the smallest details. The couple worked closely with Sarah True from True Event and Erica Phillips (one of our Event Specialists) to make their vision come to life. They used a mix of round and rectangular tables with touches of purple and poppy to create a dramatic statement in the Sperry Tent on-site. Big Party Orchestra had the guests dancing the night away. Late night snacks sent the guests off with full stomach and a reminder of the bride and groom’s appreciation.

This vibrant backyard wedding was held in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Fall inspired details met nautical New England charm and collided to make one amazingly beautiful event.

Callie and Caleb’s backyard wedding was so perfectly detailed and laid out it was as though this South Dartmouth, MA home was made for such an event.

Our chefs love a challenge! For this birthday party, we matched the menu to the intimate interior of The Chinese Tea House in Newport, RI.

The mother of one of our grooms asked us to replicate an open kitchen chef’s table for her son’s rehearsal dinner. Our talented chefs chose a menu that could be cooked over natural hardwood charcoal, and made the whole open kitchen come to life.

Kate and Jay’s rustic private home wedding had us swooning over the adorable details and vibrant mix of colors and fabrics it encompassed. The ceremony took place in a beautiful shingled barn, and was extremely intimate — only 20 people were in attendance!

Here is a recent brunch we catered at a private home in Westport, MA. The scene boasted a historic barn which was the perfect backdrop for guests to leisurely enjoy brunch after an exciting wedding the night before.

Laureena and Patrizio held and sleek, modern, black and white wedding reception at the Providence Public Library. The couple used the Library’s grand spaces and created a very trendy soirée.

A perfect combination of relaxed and casual with high end touches. This couple utilized all of the grounds surrounding Cove Cabin, and were married with the ocean as their backdrop.
