Meredith and Christopher planned a formal, romantic October wedding celebration at the Providence Public Library. They fell in love with the Library the moment they stepped foot in the spectacular venue. The marble, the gold, the romanticism of being surrounded by historic love stories all fit perfectly into an aesthetic they didn’t even realize they were envisioning!
The couple was married at the nearby Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, before celebrating with guests at the historic library. They opted for decor of gold vases, gold signage, and gold mirrors, with white, pink, green and maroon florals. The men wore black tuxedos and the ladies wore cinnamon rose satin. The dance floor was electric, thanks to an incredible DJ who mashed up hits from all decades, and the couple was overcome with a feeling of never wanting the night to end.
Meredith and Christopher rave about their menu, which started off with a variety of passed appetizers – beef tenderloin satay, butternut squash spring rolls, Mexican street corn avocado toast, bacon wrapped scallops, and Baltimore crab cakes. Next guests enjoyed a Newport melange salad as a first course, and entree options of filet mignon with black truffle demi, crab encrusted salmon, and a wild mushroom ravioli. Dessert included a sampling of delicious cakes – champagne strawberry, carrot, chocolate peanut butter, and southern comfort.
Some words from the happy couple: “We love Russell Morin and cannot recommend them enough. From the planning, to the day of execution, the team was all wonderful to work with.”
Meredith and Christopher even went on to recommend Russell Morin to their friends planning their wedding, which is the highest accolade we could ask for. Cheers!
