Rene & Adam wanted their July wedding at Glen Manor House to be classic but down-to-earth, with a focus on incorporating each of their wedding cultures into the celebration. Meaningful details included a set of wood-carved wedding ducks in the foyer from Korea, and breaking the glass during their ceremony to celebrate their Jewish heritage.

The couple instantly fell in love with Glen Manor because it fit right into their desired aesthetic – absolutely beautiful but not in an excessive way. They loved how different flowers bloom at different seasons in the gardens, the ocean view, and the privacy of the venue.

Glen Manor House sits on the banks of the Sakonnet River in Portsmouth, RI. The House’s stunning architecture includes an expansive layout of interior rooms and covered patios, along with beautifully tended gardens and the waterfront lawn, for a flexible layout that can be customized to each celebration’s unique flow.

In the dining room, the couple opted for a sweetheart table for themselves, and two long tables for their guests. They loved the decision because it gave them the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy their dinner privately, while being able to look at and appreciate all the guests who came to celebrate with them. Their favorite menu items were the steak with balsamic reduction, roasted mushroom, and arugula, and every single dessert.
