Ashley and Anthony said their vows amongst the vines of Jonathan Edwards Winery in Stonington, Connecticut. Lavish linens and rustic touches were the perfect compliments to this beautiful venue. Warm apple cider set up on our signature Barrel Bar as guests arrived showed that the bride and groom put thought into the smallest details. The couple worked closely with Sarah True from True Event and Erica Phillips (one of our Event Specialists) to make their vision come to life. They used a mix of round and rectangular tables with touches of purple and poppy to create a dramatic statement in the Sperry Tent onsite. Big Party Orchestra had the guests dancing the night away. Late night snacks sent the guests off with full stomach and a reminder of the bride and groom’s appreciation.
So what did the menu look like for this elegant affair?
We recieved the following hand written note from the mother of the bride after the wedding, and it meant the world to us. We really felt honored to be a part of this wedding.
"You and your wonderful staff made Ashley and Anthony’s wedding last Saturday beyond perfect! So many of the guests went out of their way to compliment both the food and the service. And the tent looked beautiful. I loved all your suggestions. The benches were perfect for the service, people really appreciated the hot cider, cocktails in the tasting room worked so well. In short, it was a big success. Thank you for everything. I’m grateful-and can you tell, still glowing!"
Congratulations to the lovely bride and groom from everyone at Morins.
