“Above and beyond” is the perfect phrase to describe the experience I had with Russell Morin Catering.
Throughout the wedding process, our day of coordinator left to pursue other opportunities and the transition to a new coordinator was seamless. We planned our wedding from Chicago, which made planning tricky at times. We were unable to be onsite for our final meeting, but they took the time to sit on a call and walk through every detail of the wedding.
As someone who is a type A person, I appreciated how organized they were throughout the entire planning process. Now onto the day of the wedding, I am still amazed at how smoothly our day went. We not only have guests still raving about the food, but they are raving about how organized everything was.
There were so many small touches throughout the day that took a lot of stress off me. For one, we had a personal butler that ensured we always had drinks in our hands and were being fed. I can honestly say she was my second MOH. At several points throughout cocktail hour, she was carrying a tray of hors d’oeuvres for me as well as my heavy bouquet. When I thought I had lost my bouquet that had my grandmother’s wedding ring attached to it, she assured me she locked it up in the bridal suite!
Everyone says, “you won’t eat on your wedding day” and I can say the myth is true, so I was so happy when the chef set out loaded cheese fries for my husband and I later in the reception.
Honestly, choosing the Russell Morin team was one of the best decisions we made.
