Where do I start... Allie Pendergast Smith was our wedding coordinator and was an absolute saving grace, the best ever, & above and beyond my wildest expectations. Allie's work ethic is insane, her response time to my emails was within hours, her ability to stay organized and pay attention to detail was mind blowing. I am a type-A, lawyer who works a lot and has to stay organized to get through my life. I never ONCE had to remind Allie about something that we had talked about or remind her of a tiny detail that had been forgotten off of a proposal or a list of discussion points. She had everything - she remembered everything - she kept track of literally EVERYTHING that I said. With all of the weddings and events that she is responsible for I don't know how she did it. In addition, because of my hectic schedule, Allie came to my house for a final meeting to make things easier on me. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. (Side note: Allie was also planning her own wedding, which took place the week after mine, and she still came through on every single thing for me!) Thanks Allie - you are truly the best at what you do and I could not have asked for a better coordinator to hold our hand through the wedding process! (I also want to mention for all of the brides that might be late to the planning that Allie and I planned this wedding for 250 people in 6 months - no big deal.) Next, the food. The food provided by RM was INSANELY delicious. It is a month after the wedding and our guests are still talking about how good the swordfish and lobster rolls and lamb chop lollipops and raw bar and literally everything tasted. No one had to wait for a cocktail - not even for one second. (Shout out to Briant H. and his team of bartenders! You guys were awesome!) You ate an oyster and someone was standing behind you to take it away for you. You finished your cocktail and put your glass down, a RM employee was there to take it away. At the end of the night, there were RM angels walking around with trays of grilled cheese making sure that each guest was happy and full. Truly wonderful quality and execution of the food! Thirdly, "day of" coordination. Our wedding was at the Eisenhower House in Newport, RI so every chair, piece of silverware, electricity, etc. had to be brought in. Allie coordinated all of our vendors and her team oversaw the placement of every table, chair, seating card, flower arrangement, picture frame, etc. EVERY SINGLE PIECE was in its proper place. None of us - not the wedding party, our parents, Peter or I - had to worry about anything. Allie and her team took care of all of it. It was also really nice hearing from each of our vendors "Oh perfect - you're working with Allie and RM - this is going to be easy." For brides, this is an important part, to be able to rely on Allie and her team in order to be able to enjoy the day. It goes by SO fast and if you're stressed about the coordination of it all, you won't get to enjoy yourself. We enjoyed ourselves to the max and that's what getting married is really all about. Allie and RM made that happen for us! It was the best decision ever! I recommend Allie and RM to everyone. Thank you for making our day one that we will never ever forget! XX
