We had our wedding at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and were so happy that they use Russell Morin as their exclusive vendor. The food was absolutely to die for!!
There was a tasting event for all couples in February, where we were able to try most of the many menu options and we were not disappointed. On the day of the actual wedding, the food was even better. We had the filet mignon and a chicken dish, as well as many amazing hors d'oeuvres. Many of our guests told us their steak was the best they've ever had. My favorite appetizer was the burek, which was kind of like a spanakopita. My husband's was the clam cake and chowder shooter or the mini beef wellington. We had three passed desserts, which also got a ton of compliments, particularly the dough boys.
So many people told us that we weren't going to get to eat on our wedding day, but they were very, very wrong. We had many platters of hors d'oeuvres personally delivered to us while we were taking photos during the cocktail hour. We had a personal server at our sweetheart table who made sure we were eating and had everything we needed. She brought us drinks and took great care of us. Throughout the night, we had servers going out of their way to make sure we got desserts.
I also heard from many of our guests that their servers were incredible. Everything we possibly could have needed was taken care of.
